Ask @perfectstarfish3700:

Has this ever happened to you... you're about to leave your work or school and it just starts to down pour! 😆🍀🤷

Sωεετ Bεℓℓα
"Has this ever happened to you?" That reminds me of Bojack Horseman. Whenever Todd and Mr. Peanutbutter present a "quality" business idea, they start with that saying. It's good stuff. You should watch the show if you haven't.
And yes, that has happened to me. It happened on one of the first days of school and I got a cold. The next day I brought a hoodie in case if it happened again... but it just so happened that the skies were clear. That wretched weather.

What is the last thing you do before bed?

Nowadays I do this thing where I 'rest my eyes' at night. It's just me wanting to lay down and take a load off for a minute because I don't actually want to sleep yet. But... I go to to sleep anyway, haha. One day I woke up and I was wearing really nice clothes because I fell asleep on accident the night before. I was like, "What? How did this happen?" XD
I only feel bad because I don't say goodnight to Noah and Rae. And in the morning I'm like "I'm sorry, I fell asleep without saying goodnight" haha. Hopefully I can stop this habit soon.

What influences your writing the most?

I find that no matter what, everything you encounter in your life is going to affect what you create.
The biggest thing would be other stories. For instance, I really liked horror/dark anime when I first got into it. As a result, my stories were darker and more visceral at that time. And then later on action anime was my thing, so my stories were more like that. You get the gist.
The biggest change to my writing happened when I experienced the gameplay of Undertale's true route for the first time. I loved the character moments, humor, and it taught me that not everything is black and white. Everyone has layers. My writing then became more about character rather than plot, exploring feelings and emotions, as well as developing relationships.
Samurai Jack only intensified my love for this kind of story. In all of Jack's adventures he helps people, and he gives them hope along the way. I loved that kind of story so much that now all of my stories are about people helping each other, character growth, and relationship building. Avatar: The Last Airbender tells these kinds of stories too, also teaching a theme of hope. (I just now noticed all of my biggest writing influences have a theme of hope in common.)
I would say that Undertale, Samurai Jack, and Avatar: The Last Airbender have influenced my writing the most.

What's one thing that is on your to-do list this weekend? One of mine is to watch Angel Has Fallen

Mighty Mouse
That sounds really cool. You should tell me about the movie if you get a chance.
I'm also seeing a new movie. My mother, her boyfriend, and I are going to see IT Chapter 2. Really stoked for it! I waited a long time to see the first one, I remember. So I'm glad to see this one around release, haha.

What's your favorite video game? Currently I'm hooked on Shadows of Mordor again

Mighty Mouse
I have a few.
Undertale - Has probably impacted my life and my writing more than any other game. I don't know who I'd be without it, to be honest. Not to mention that it's so charming and has such beautiful writing (I'm referring to the Pacifist Route/True Ending).
Breath of the Wild - My favorite time consumer, one in which I made a post about a few days ago.
Life is Strange - I love the calming atmosphere, as well as the atmosphere of an academy. Also really emotional and has 3D characters. I watch a different Youtuber play it every year or so. First it was Cryaotic, then Kubz Scouts, and this past year I watched Jacksepticeye play it.
Corpse Party - Amazing horror game. I love the way despair is captured.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of the Sky - Fantastic story line.
Banjo Kazooie - So charming and fun.
Fun fact, I only played three of the games on this list, the rest I watched someone else play... haha.

What anime are you watching right now?

Soul Eater. This anime is a bit of a nostalgia trip, since it's one of the first I ever watched.
The writing in it holds so much creativity. How do the writers come up with this stuff? I need their secrets, haha.
I'm a little early in the anime right now, but I do hope more character development comes. Maka feels like the most developed character with what we learn about her and her hate for men in the first episode (the reason why I thought was well-written). And in the second episode I like how Black Star's traits are shown; his pride, being both a negative and positive influence throughout. Plus, we learn more about him and how he sticks to his morals when it comes to his decision at the end of the episode. I do wish that Death the Kid had more defining traits other than his love for symmetry. I mean, it's funny, but that can't be all to his character, right? So I do hope we learn more about Death the Kid.
Anyways, I am really excited for the adventure this anime will put me on!

Blackygirl
The first day of my senior year starts tomorrow.
So many times in the past I would think, "My adult days are so far off." But what do you do when the time arrives? It hits you that this is your last year of school. After this, you're on your own.
You have to reflect. What is your decision? What do you want to do with your life? How come you still don't know? I mean, you want a creative job, but those aren't known for being the most stable.
I say fuck it. Get that creative job. Do what you want in life. You want creativity? That means you were born for it.
Maybe you had slip ups. But what matters is right now. Because you'll think back on right now and wish you didn't waste your time weighing risk and reward. NOW is the time. Head forth to the bright future that awaits.

What video game(s) would you like to play?

I would like to play some of the classics from the Zelda series.
Breath of the Wild was my first ever Zelda game. I love everything about it. Down to the theme of hope, beautiful environments, immersive atmosphere, and colorful characters. I also like games that really get me thinking. That element of adventure is another aspect that I admire. With how much I enjoy Breath of the Wild, I can only imagine how great the other Zelda games are.

Night is a Wonderful Opportunity To take rest, To forgive, To dream, To smile and To get ready for all the battles that you have to fight tommorrow

That's really beautiful. I agree. When I go to sleep I try to think about all the things I'm grateful for and about everything good that will come the next day. So I would add "to be grateful and look forward to all the positives" on that list :)

How many books you read?

I don't really keep a count, but I haven't read many since I recently started the habit. Right now I'm reading the first Game of Thrones book, which is about 1,000 pages... so that's gonna take a while. But I'm looking forward to it. Being someone who watched the show first, I feel like the book brings more depth to each character, making them even more likeable. I love it so far. Plus, Martin's writing style is really beautiful. I enjoy reading it.

Do you enjoy autumn? If yes, what are your favourite things about it? If not, why? 🍁🍁🍁

J O A N N A
I love autumn. I can't stand weather that is too hot or cold, so that mild temperature is nice. Plus most days are overcast, which is my favorite type of weather. The season itself has a nice, calming feel to it. I walk to school and autumn is my favorite season for going on a walk. It's the kind of season I wish that everyday was like.

What has been the highlight of your summer?

J O A N N A
A highlight has been all of the people I have befriended. Although this summer wasn't what I dreamed writing wise, I'm glad I got to have experiences with my friends. Even though R @cranberry_sauce probably gets tired of my cheesy jokes now and then, haha. I'm glad I have met her and we've grown closer. I hope we grow even closer my friend, if you are reading this :) And then there's my other friend, Noah. We talked last summer and stopped because we were both busy with school, but I'm glad he reached out to me last month. Like R, he's been there for me when I needed him. And he's been supportive all of the while. These two have undoubtably been the highlight of my summer.
